Based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, this guideline summarizes current status and approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer in modern medicine, and establishes management strategies using Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for perioperative adverse reactions (e.g., poor wound healing, intestinal obstruction/adhesion, lymphocele), adverse reactions associated with Western systemic drug therapies such as chemotherapy and targeted therapy [e.g., gastrointestinal toxicity, myelosuppression, peripheral neuropathy, alopecia, hypertension, hand-foot skin reaction (HFSR)], TCM syndrome differentiation-based maintenance therapy for advanced ovarian cancer, and TCM management of anxiety and cancer-related fatigue in ovarian cancer patients.
